Mosaic Prayer Retreat: Broken Pieces, Broken Places. Friday Dec. 11

In the Christmas season, we are cultured into entering this time with all joy and celebration. And, there is more in the story for us. Maybe especially now when the world still seems a bit upside down.

We live in a broken world and our souls carry those broken pieces – ours and others. Yet, taking time to name these aches and honor its place in our story is by-passed in favor of pulling ourselves up by our bootstraps, sucking it up, and pressing on.

The “Broken Pieces. Broken Places” retreat is a space to sift through those things in your life that need to be given a voice before God. It’s a place where your disappointments, anger, grief, bitterness, unforgiveness, sin can be named. Jesus welcomes the entirety of your being to His table because He alone heals and transforms. He, too, is familiar with broken things.

This 2  hour retreat incorporates a communal time of quiet reflection, retreat prompts to guide your time, and space for silence and contemplation to help you give voice to the broken things you are or have experienced. You will be working with broken tile and glue to create your unique prayer mosaic/s.

All creative contemplation materials are included.

Coffee, tea and water will be available.
